What we were offered and our decision
We received two proposals for funding from two corporations. The first proposal we were offered was from The Biggest Loser Inc. They offered $400,000 if we endorsed their proposal "that all food at school across America has to be vegetarian and free of trans fats so that we can help our youth be more healthy." The other proposal we were offered was from the National Rifle Association (NRA). They wanted to offer $500,000 if we endorsed their proposal to give "a gun to every man, woman, and child (over the age of 16) in America." They claimed that if everyone had a gun, criminals would be afraid to commit crimes. We decided to decline the National Rifle Association's offer because as a party we agreed that giving 16-year-old children accessibility to a deadly weapon with hopes of lowering crime rates wouldn't be effective and that with all the gun violence in America at the moment, allowing more accessibility wouldn't help reduce gun violence and prevent school shootings. Because we declined the NRA's offer, we accepted The Biggest Loser Inc.'s offer because we felt that with vegetarian meals it would help students be a bit healthier and they could get all the nutrients and proteins they need from fruits, vegetables, dairy products, and various other places.

We chose Denver, Colorado as our campaign office in a major city because it has quite a big population and it isn't just specifically a democratic or republican state. Even though, it does have more democratic votes than republican, voting groups can change from campaign to campaign. Denver overall has a wide variety of people and a large number of people in it and around it which can be vital for our campaign if we get those votes.
We chose Norfolk, Virginia as our campaign office in a minor city because we think that having offices in places far from each other could provide us with a large variety of votes. Norfolk also has more democratic votes than republican but that was in the most recent election and political grouping can change from election to election. Having an office in this place would allow us to hopefully get votes from the eastern side of the United States which would be extremely helpful to our campaign.
