Strengthening Gun Control Laws

Gun laws have always been a controversial point in the United States, with an increase every year of mass shootings, school shootings, and overall gun violence. Gun regulations are different throughout the States, causing disproportionate gun violence varying in number. The United States has taken some approaches decades ago, making automatics hard to obtain. But the constitution has always been the leading factor when taking into law regulation. Citizens of the United States have a right to the second amendment: the right of the people to keep and bear arms must not be violated because a well-managed militia is essential to the security of a free State. This causes conflict in the nation because disagreements arise on how much regulation should be implemented before imposing restrictions on an individual's right, with some individuals contending that people, not guns, are to blame for gun violence. According to state statistics, rural and urban communities, and the operation of gun regulation laws, there is evidence to suggest that this is not the case. Although many argue that gun ownership should be less restricted, we stand with strengthening gun regulation laws and limiting gun accessibility because it will help lower the frequency of shootings, gun violence, and make communities safer.

MEDICARE FOR ALL

America should establish a Medicare-for-all national health insurance program. The government would control the price of medication and medical services through regulation and negotiation. It would also eliminate the administrative cost of working with multiple private health insurers. Studies show that preventive care lowers expensive emergency room usage, which leads to a healthier population. Same healthcare, less cost: Hospitals and doctors would be forced to provide the same standard of service at a low cost, instead of targeting wealthy clients and offering expensive services so they can get a higher profit. We dont want to have workers lose health insurance from being fired or quitting from a job, and we want everyone to not be afraid of the government. Our plan is to have individuals live life, risk free, for the first time.

Reproductive Rights

One topic that our campaign has decided to deem most important is reproductive rights. “Reproductive rights are a class of human rights associated with reproductive health and autonomy. They may include the right to plan a family, use birth control, receive sex education in public schools, end a pregnancy, and gain access to reproductive health services,” states Thomas Hootman from findlaw.com. These rights are controversial in many ways and are a huge discussion piece in the world today. Beliefs surrounding reproductive rights vary greatly. Many people believe that being educated on sex in schools is wrong because of how young kids would be when they learn about it and because they believe that a child’s parents should decide when to tell their child about it. Another belief is that there is no need for birth control if people don’t engage in sexual activity and others believe that that is inaccurate due to people using it to treat other health issues besides to prevent pregnancy. One of the most controversial beliefs is surround the right to terminate a pregnancy, some view it as wrong and as preventing a child from living, and others view it as a person’s own choice for a variety of reasons. Our party believes that reproductive rights are human rights and believe that it’s a person’s personal decision what they do with their own bodies. We also believe that having a curriculum that teaches about sex education that describes proper behavior is important. We have these beliefs because not supporting reproductive rights will mostly affect women and those with female parts and it is not our right to decide what a person should do with their own body.

Pollution

Another issue that we as a party view as extremely important is pollution. National Geographic states that “Pollution is the introduction of harmful materials into the environment. These harmful materials are called pollutants.” It is an ongoing issue and has been an issue since the 19th century. It can include air pollution, which is usually made up of different types of gasses from factories or other ways of production, water pollution, which can be from trash, oil, chemicals, and much more, soil contamination from chemicals, fertilizers, and more, noise pollution, plastic pollution, light pollution, radioactive contamination, thermal pollution, and much more. This can be a controversial topic because there are many people that do not believe pollution exists or they choose to just ignore it. As a party, we believe that pollution needs to be stopped for the sake of our future as a society and for the health of our planet. We believe this because of the effects that we can already see. These effects are animals being found with trash in their stomachs or being found with trash harming their body, many animals losing their homes due to the Earth heating up from too many gasses in the atmosphere, and changes in seasons and normal temperatures for those seasons. We also believe it needs to be fixed because of the warnings countless scientists have been giving us for many years. They have warned that if we don’t begin doing something to stop pollution and make it better that we won’t have the chance to save the Earth at all. The sooner we begin fixing and trying to stop pollution, the sooner the Earth is healthier, and all effects can be reversed.

Free College Education

The Rudolph Party believes that college in this country should be free. This country does not provide free education to the general public which includes those in poverty and in bad financial situations. Since many cannot afford to send their children or themselves to college, many people go uneducated. Proper education in this country is extremely important in this country as it creates educated individuals. Though, there are some people in this country that don’t believe education is of utmost importance, we do. There are people that believe that proper education is unnecessary and a free education would raise taxes for them. We believe that people that scored and are above the 50th percentile in standardized tests deserve to have a free college education. This way we know that the best and brightest are being brought to their highest potential. This way, people that are struggling financially and have dreams to get a higher education have the ability to.

Minimum Wage Policy

The low minimum wage rate is a serious issue in the United States. The Rudolph Party believes that the national minimum wage should be raised so that all people in this country can be accommodated for. Millions of people are unable to afford basic necessities such as food, electricity, transportation, healthcare, and even proper housing. There are people who believe that raising the minimum wage will increase unemployment rates but statistics show that unemployment rates would be lowered. Raising the minimum wage would assure that everyone in this country would be able to receive the basic human necessities that they need to survive.

Merging south and north dakota

Another Topic of great importance in America is merging South and North Dakota. The population of both states is very small. Ranking in the bottom 5 in general population in the United States. Putting them together would put the population at over 1.7 million. Petitions with over 25,000 signatures have been signed to merge the two states. It is something that the American people want. A problem that some people have with this policy is that the flag of the United States may need to go through some remodeling due to losing one state. However, there is a very simple solution to this very simple problem. We simply make Puerto Rico a state. Thus, the flag will keep its 50 stars. It is imperative that we merge these states for the good of the people. The name of this new state? Megakota.

Nuclear Proliferation

Nuclear Proliferation is a very important topic that is very important for the United States to Handle. The handling of nuclear items and resources is vital to upkeeping foreign relationships, as well as assuring the safety of The United States. The reason it is so important to control nuclear proliferation is to protect from nuclear violence. Keeping nuclear weapons away from most countries is for the good of everyone. As nuclear weapons usually spell the fate of doom for everyone. It is also vital that we control nuclear resources as nuclear resources play a vital role in the development of energy as nuclear energy provides a lot of clean energy, and development of clean energy is essential. These two reasons show why it is so essential that the United States continue to control nuclear proliferation through treaties and not to begin

Vaccine Mandates

For the very first time in the history of the United States, an emergency use authorization was put into place for a vaccine. Smallpox, Polio, Measles, and Rubella were all once diseases and viruses that plagued the United States. Over time each one was systematically eradicated, no threats, no mandates, and no emergency use authorizations. Every single one of those vaccines went through rigorous testing before being permitted for public use, and when a vaccine was found to do more harm than good it would be recalled. History has laid out a clear method for the creation and distribution of vaccines. Science may grow but it will never change, we will always need to test what we create, nothing ever works right the first time. Distribution need not be a threat either, so long as your science is sound, and you don not hide things from the public, enough vaccines will be administered to eradicate the disease.

COVID-19 Vaccines

Nowhere near enough testing was done for a vaccine that was ultimately unnecessary. COVID-19, like all viruses, is generally only fatal to people whose immune systems are compromised whether due to age or other factors. Many of those who died during the height of the pandemic did so due to inadequate medical care, such as lifesaving medicines and treatments, being withheld as a result of greed amongst pharmaceutical companies. The vaccine itself was created with new technologies that were not meant for this purpose. To make matters worse, minimal testing was done before it was forced upon the public with extreme vigor. The contents and side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine were also withheld from the public putting many people at risk. All these factors make the COVID-19 vaccine unsafe for public use.
